Gecko's Renovation Process
DREAM
In our first meeting with you we will help you to tell us your dreams about your new kitchen or other build. We will find out what you like/dislike about your current space, and what you want from your new space. We know you are not expert designers (and we don’t expect you to be). That’s why our designers come bursting with ideas, suggestions and tips to help you achieve your dream.
DESIGN
Our designers will take your ideas and suggestions and bring them to life for you. Using detailed 3D drawings, you can test drive your new space – checking you are totally happy with how it looks and works before the first piece of wood is sawn or hole drilled.
DEVELOP
Once you are happy with the design, our manufacturing team get to work. They custom-build your new cabinets from scratch in Brisbane. We also source and arrange delivery of all of your new fixtures and fittings. This usually takes 12-14 days.
DEMOLISH
This is a busy day at your home. All your deliveries are scheduled to arrive today. This is also where our team removes your old space cabinets, appliances, sinks etc and installs any new wiring or plumbing that is required. We then prepare walls, floors and other surfaces to allow for a smooth installation the next day.
CREATE
The big day arrives! Today your new space is installed. We install your new cabinets, appliances, splash-backs, tiles and fittings. (If you have stone bench tops – these will take a few more days as they can only be measured by your stonemason once your cabinets are fully installed). We then fully clean the room and test every fixture and fitting before handing it over to you, so that all you need to do is sit back and enjoy your new space.

Laundries are the workhorses of every home. Renovating your laundry can increase storage, improve access to appliances, and ensure a consistent look with your new kitchen.
